Nehemiah Challenge in its Final Days!

Hello again!

Just a final reminder that his weekend is the conclusion to our exciting matching funds challenge.

For the last 52 days, we’ve been raising money to help build a new security wall for the Bible school in Cordoba, Argentina. This is a large project and we only need about $3,500 more to have raised $30,000!

Would you consider helping us before the end of May? All funds given will be matched so please contact us today. If you would like to know more about this project, please visit our “Current Projects” page. For more detailed information on how to support us, visit out “Support” section.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!

LFTL... some of the best 4 letters in missions!

Light For The Lost (LFTL) ... An empowering ministry for missions.
Hello Friends,

Last week I had the privilege of attending 3 LFTL (Light for the Lost) banquets as part of the Steakwagon tour here in New Jersey. It’s a great time to enjoy a wonderful steak dinner (thanks Glen!), have fellowship and hear how LFTL is making a difference. For those who are not familiar with LFTL, they assist missionaries by providing resources for evangelism here in America and around the world. This is crucial to a missionary’s effectiveness and we are truly thankful for them!

I wanted to take a moment to write a post about LFTL to help introduce it to more people in the church. On a personal note, LFTL is helping us in our work in Argentina by providing literature which we have distributed to children plus books and materials for our Bible school students. Truly, missions is about everyone working together. Thank you LFTL!

If you would like to attend one of the Steakwagon rallies coming up this week, here are the times and places.

  • Thursday, May 21st, Crossroads Assembly of God in Englishtown, NJ at 7:00 PM
  • Friday, May 22nd, New Life Assembly of God in Egg Harbor, NJ at 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, May 23rd, Mountain Top Assembly of God in Mt. Olive, NJ at 5:00 PM

At all events, NJ LFTL director John Bechtel will be present with special guest Rev. David Raley speaking at each function. Please visit our New Jersey LFTL website today for more info.

Photos of New Mattresses!

Students receiving their new mattresses!
Hello again!

Just a quick note that we added some photos to our “Media” section of the new mattresses recently purchased.

Many of you gave sacrificially toward this project and we wanted to inform you that we got some photos in. We’ll be posting some additional ones shortly, but this should give you an idea of the great blessing we have been to these future pastors and church leaders. All in all we have purchased more than 70 kits of mattresses, blankets and pillows for our students!

Thank you for giving! Visit our “Current Projects” section for information about this and other projects.

Nehemiah Challenge Update

Help us build the wall for the security of our students!
Dear Friends,

We would like to further update you on our progress for the “Nehemiah Challenge” project. As you know, the security of our students is of the upmost importance. In order for us to safely secure our campus, we will need approximately $30,000 for the construction of a security wall. At the moment here is where we stand:

  • We currently have close to $10,000 given or pledged toward this project.
  • If we include the matching funds portion, we will have raised about $20,000 of the intended $30,000 so far.

We have just a couple more weeks to raise an additional $5,000 which will in turn be matched. Please consider joining with us as we trust God to provide the resources to help secure our campus in Argentina! You can find out more about this project by visiting our “Current Projects” section.

We’ll keep you posted...

Update on Missions Budget

We currently have almost 90% of our budget raised.
Hello again,

Sonia and I wanted to give you an update on our progress as we continue to itinerate and raise funds to return soon to Argentina. As you know, we need a certain amount of monthly commitments to be raised leaving for the mission field again.

During these past 10 months so far, God has opened many doors and we’ve witnessed His goodness in so many ways. We are thankful to the many churches that have made us a part of their extended ministry. Thank you for partnering with us!

Currently, we are at around 90% of our ministry budget raised. Though this is wonderful news, we still need that last 10%! We are lacking about $850 in monthly commitments. Perhaps you or your church would like to join hands with us? This would be a great time to do so. Just visit our “Support” page for more information.

We’ll keep you informed. Also, don’t forget that we still need your help on our “Nehemiah Challenge” project.

Thanks so much and we’ll be in touch with you again soon!
